Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday accepted the bail application of Aliya Butt, maternal aunt of murdered gangster Mubeen Butt and released her on bail. The court passed this order in the habeas corpus petition filed by Mubeen's mother Mussarrat Khalid. Police had arrested Aliya outside LHC where she along with other women of the family were protesting against the killing of Mubeen Butt in a fake police encounter.
